The Tulisa War Monument MTB Trail (x-country)
A stunningly beautiful trail with a nice climb. Wanders along a beautiful mountain stream on a rough mountain road, through a beautiful gorge (with a very nice cave) then enters the forest, and up on the plains. Beautiful views of Retezat National Park and the War Memorial (where Rommel?). Side tours include a beautiful waterfall, a shepherds village, etc. (Ascent and Descent different because I turned on GPS late!).

can be muddy up top, and foggy. The Tulisa road goes to the right where the major fork is about 3 km up.

Turn-by-turn directions
about 4 km up, there is a major left turn, then a major fork in the road. to go to Tulisa, take the right. you will go past a statue, a picnic table, and then up up up! (About 2km up, there is a major left off of the main road that goes to a beautiful waterfall).
